I'm doing terrible. I'm SO far behind. I only have the 1st 3 blocks finished. A couple weeks ago I sat down to work on the April block and got all the pieces cut only to realize that I had cut out the March block! grrrrr.... My goal is to get April and May completed this weekend. but what's that saying about the best laid plans...

Lana, just do what you can do when you can do it. Goodness I hope you understand that statement! lol But this is supposed to be enjoyable not a chore. A chore is cleaning the bathrooms and vacuuming which I have to do in a few minutes but I wanted to get my BPS block for September laid out.
Why not come join us ladies? We'd love to have you and we make such pretty blocks. Of course, some of them I would never choose to do but am so glad when I've finished them. I want to attempt the Virginia Reel next which is the alternate block for Sept. I'm working on Betty's Delight right now! Being Betty I'm excited to do it. In a day or so check our BPS Album for all those lovely blocks.

Well I took last weekend to catch up did June through August. I haven't taken pictures yet but will try tomorrrow. I started so well doing the various BOM's ecah month as they were posted then I hit a bolder in the road. The good news is after I joined I downloaded Patchwork Panache, it is done and a good half hand-quilted. I also have Pinwheels and Posies together in chunks waiting for applique`.
Lana, I really liked your fabrics and am looking forward to see more of your blocks. I got behind, too, when I dithered over my fabric choices. Then one week I made so much progress catching up ... until my machine went in for repairs and I have been playing catch-up ever since. I need to pull this fabric back out and make the rest of the months I am behind.
I find that I actually enjoy having a few months to do in a row as opposed to waiting for the next block ... I am now using this method for several of my BOM's rather than do one block each month. I focus on one BOM and do a few months then put it away and catch up with another ... I actully like this system.

well, my goal was to complete the April and May blocks over the weekend, and I actually did it. I like the April block, but my fabrics aren't diverse enough again in the May block, but I'm not changing them now. I plan to finish this for my own bed, and noone will see it anyway.
I uploaded my April block to the Album, but didn't get my May block up yet.
This is it:

It's semi-early and have only had 1/2 cup of coffee, where is there an alternate block. I'm searching????
Marie, I just went back to read my message and you skipped the previous sentence where I was referring to my BPS blocks and then I issued the invitation to join us in BPS that is!
Sorry for the confusion. Betty
