lol I already have THREE of your BOM's as a WIP...guess there will be a 4th starting in January. Big Grin

I DO hope to get at least one of them done this coming year though...my "work" schedule will dictate how much I accomplish though. Still trying to find work I can do from home since I can't put my newborn son in daycare.

Kim, I am glad that you are doing another BOM. I have got my sister interested in quilting, and we are planning a day each month when we can do the 2009 blocks together as a monthly time together. I will be sure to come to Block Central on December 26th and get the fabric requirements and get started finding my fabrics.... Thanks again for all your time you put into doing these BOMs for us all

Kim,
Wow, who knew you were under so much stress. This is what happens when you are new. I'm sorry to hear about your heartaches with your parents. I am looking forward to the new block of the month 2009. It was fun to finish my quilt and I am waiting for it to be returned tomorrow! Merry Christmas you and your parents are in my thoughts and prayers!

Now I know why my emails were not answered. Thank goodness your dad is doing good! He is in my prayers as well as you!

Is anyone still working on this and how far along are you? I started out really well. I don't even know what happened. Today, I am working on the July block. I'd really like to do one of these and keep up completely but I think I better finish this one first.

I have done 9 blocks and am stopping there. I really need a throw in the colors I used so nine will make a nice throw. I may go back and do other blocks as pillows.

I am still working on mine, Lana. I just have the outside border to do and it will be pieced. I have several to quilt before I get to this one tho. I will try and do better at keeping up in 2009!!! Wendy

I have finished all the blocks and have started putting it all together. Not sure how I feel about my fabric selection for the outside border. Right now I am not that excited with the color. I am hoping once I get the border on I will change my mind. I did have to go back and totally remake April's block, don't know where my minds was it turned out to be 18" no way I could use it. I ended up piecing Aug- Dec all at once.
I think Kim's quilt was just beautiful and I am excited about being close to the end.

I will post a picture of finished top as soon as I finish piecing.

I finally got the border put on mine today. Haven't tacked it up for a picture yet, but maybe tomorrow. Wendy
