I know its nation wide, and even online at some online shops. The local quilt store here is doing the Tangles Buck-A-Block, and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this or is doing it?

Thanks

May your bobbin always be full!

Hi, Kira,

Thanks for posting this. Is it really a "buck a block" per month? Do you have to purchase the "thangles" in packages separately? (I saw one once online where you had to do so.) I have never used thangles, but I usually enjoy a new idea. There is a quilt shop located very near me that is listed. I shall have to check this one out next time I am in their shop,

Milica - WOW Cheer I am only on the first one, I hope to get the second block tomorrow. Would love to see your blocks!!!!

Pat - at the local quilt shop (well local for me, you could say) they offer the first block for $6.00, then if I go back and show the owner the finished block. I pay $1.00 for the next, you have to go back every month and do this same thing. Can't skip or you pay $6.00 again. Thangles, fabric and instructions are included. I have seen online deals that are different, but I was hoping to visit the shop once a month, now see I have an excuse to shop Wink and my hubby is ok with that for now. Big Grin

I'm not sure if the quilt shops close to me have this - I have seen it on the web, though. It sounds like the same deal as the Saturday Sampler one LQS runs - I have participated for several years - my blocks are waiting for me to put them together.

I have seen pics online on people's blogs/photobucket/flickr etc, and they look really nice.

I, too, have never used Thangles or Triangles on a Roll. Something to keep in mind, though! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Linda

I've sent you an email.

Kira

I collect mine from my LQS - the first was £4 and then you have to take the finished block in person back to the shop next month and pay £2 but if you don't do it or you are late then you have to pay £4 again for the next block.

I will post a piccie later for you as just on my way out to my mothers for the day.

thanks, Milica - got your email. Wonder what's happening with the posts and emails? Maybe a stranger is reading them for us. LOL!

I just got some thangles to use for another project.
