I have been working on this free BOM a few months now as it started in October. I shall have to post some pictures soon. When I went to get this month's block pattern, I realized that I do not think I have seen a link for this one posted on this forum. It is a very "scrappy" quilt ... just my style ...
The blocks already made have been so basic, it would not take but a day to play catch-up.
Enjoy,
<3 Pat

I really like the scrappy quilts. They are very "homey" looking to me.
I will have to post pictures of the blocks I have made so far. These are very easy blocks.
I got behind on the month with the four house blocks, as I decided to make one for each season. It took longer to find the right fabrics. But I will catch up soon.
Oh ... I see the April shoo-fly block is up!
I need to finish March and get going on this one again.
That is why I like this pattern, Linda, ... just call me "Scrappy PATches" <3

I don't know about you, but I cut scraps into squares and strips and save them in baggies or plastic storage boxes. With this quilt I am finally using up some of the 2-1/2, 3-1/2, and 4-1/2" pieces I've been saving in bags. WOO HOO!
I'm pulling out pieces needed for the blocks and grouping them together in baggies with the pattern so when I get a chance I can start sewing them together.
I need to use my stash to cut some of the larger pieces needed for the blocks - AND more squares. I'm thinking some of the later blocks will need a FEW of the same fabrics as the earlier blocks to tie the quilt together - kinda - at least as much as a scrappy quilt can be. LOL!

The September Block is up for this one and it is the borders.
Has anyone else been doing this quilt?
I started it last fall and kept up every month ... um ... until I joind BC ... and all of a sudden there were all these ideas, and patterns and swaps and quilters to chat with ... and I got a little bit sidetracked ... Well, if truth be told I got DERAILED. But I have been printing the block each month and am hoping to catch up soon. These blocks are all very easy.
I see there is a NEW BLock of the Month starting on this site in November. Once the new pattern starts the previous one is available for sale only, I believe.
So if you want to do this one for free ... start printing befofe it goes poof!
