So I went out shopping again ....for happy block fabric. I really need to be kept out of fabric stores .... I turn into this monster that has to buy a piece of EVERYTHING! Well, I did pretty good ...I bought a FQ of candy fabric, then a FQ piece with sodas, cakes, cupcakes, drinks, etc and then one FQ of pizza. Then of course some matching pieces ...they looked so cute together. Then I stopped by JoAnns because thread was 1/2 off and I found two bolts of plaid on sale for $1 a yard!! I bought both bolts (yes, it is a sickness!)... but I figured it would make great backing for men's quilts or pjs for DH or me. I did buy the thread also so that was good. So, anyways, THATS IT... I cannot be allowed in a fabric or quilt store. We need to start an AA for quilters. I'll be the first member but I need a sponser I can call when it comes over me again. Help??!! Deb
NDeb, A dollar a yard!!!!Wow you lucky girl Now I wouldn't be much help keeping you from buying fabric, because I would be right next to you at the cashier.lol I love fabric too. Sounds like you got a great assortment. I'm using fabric I have left over from the jar of goodies swap. It's got dark & pink chocolates. Yep, I couldn't resist the pin. I think it will make cute happy blks. Rebecca P

Wasie, What a great theme! I have some boxed chocolate fabric left over from the jar of goodies swap, I think I might use that. However the ice cream cone fabric is just wonderful at the Spiderweb shope. Thank you for the links. Rebecca P

Linda ... I hope so ... but ... no machine humming along yet ... ... I am taking it tomorrow to drop it off at the repair shop ...
I most likely will be able to join October's swap, but I am going to wait to sign up until I know for sure ...
I also have lots of stuff I need to catch up on when I get my machine back before I can commit to anything else ...

I will get them done and posted asap! I have to go to Nacogdoches this weekend to get my daughter settled into her dorm room. Boo Hoo. I have missed her this week. She starts college on the 25th.
