I received Mary's, my Quiltbuddie from South Africa, blocks today!!!! Yay! I was getting worried that our postal system might have lost them since Kathi got hers last week. They were well worth waiting for!

Thanks, Mary! They are gorgeous! What beautiful stand-out fabric borders and the batiks are such a nice touch.

I laid all the ones I have recieved together today ~~~~>



They are going to make a beautiful quilt. I am just waiting on a few more blocks which will make one more row and then I have to decide on the setting. I do have a little extra fabric in my stash from the blocks I made. I hope to be sewing this sometime in April.

Hello everyone,

I want to say thank you all for your patience. It has been kind of crazy at work with getting everything in order for the new postion and it happened in the middle of the annual inventory.

I recieved everyones blocks and i did get Dorene's blocks Monday. I just love all of them. I'm starting to plan my lay out and I think I have changed it 10 times. When I stand back and look at it, I find something else about the blocks. All of the fabrics have wonderful contrast to them. I'm having so much fun playing with them...lol.

Hope to have it started tomorrow.
