I LOVE the Gadabout Purse. I MAY just have to buy the pattern. Of course, I have lots of OTHER patterns here - never used - so it will feel right at home. LOL

Maybe I'll make some for friends for Christmas. Use up some of my stash! LOL Yeah, right! I'll probably need to buy MORE fabric. I've spent $300 on fabric in the past week!

I love the StudioKat designs but have yet to buy any of the patterns. I've got pretty much every Lazy Girl bag pattern there is. I love how easy Joan's instructions are! I made my Schlep Bag last weekend and love it. It makes up bigger than I thought it would bu it makes a great bookbag for school or a nice shopping bag. My DH said to me when we were going into Mal-Wart the other day, "That's a big bag, they're going to think you're stealing stuff." I just smiled and replied, "Thye're welcome to look." Only stuff in there is mine!
Does "Simply Quilts" come on anymore? It's about that time. I'm off to check.

I have several of the lazy girl patterns too and can't wait to try one of them. I still get simply quilts on the DIY network.

I love bags. I started sewing this morning, it was not bags. I am going to sew myself scrub bottoms to sew and lazearound the house. I am 11 miles out of town and loving it. so i will be sitting and sewing in scrubs and t-shirts.
I did download a pattern from BHG and it was a spa bag. Very Nice! you have to join to get the freebies, but I also uncheck any of the coupons, new, from advertisers.

Whats everyone up to? Sewing?

What did I do today? DH and I went to a friend's house to pressure wash it. Actually, he did that while I wandered around the property, petting the critters (goats, horses). You'd think working with them every day I'd get my fill, but nope... never do.
I sewed my happy blocks thsi morning and they turned out nice. I'm going to dig through everything I own tomorrow and find that darn black batik so I can finish the wedding quilty thingy that I need to get done SOON. And another quilt for another friend, Bento Box pattern. I like that one. Then maybe another bag to add to the bunches I already have... ;-)

Simply Quilts and The Carol Duval Show no longer come on HGTV. There are some old reruns on the DIY channel but not enough for me to subscribe to the DIY. I get the HGTV. Nothings on anymore! The Quilting Shows I watch come on Saturday a.m. on Louisiana Public Broadcasting and on RFDTV!
