I thought it'd be fun to do a JAR SWAP! Anything can go in your jar! Bugs, flowers, vegetables, Fruits, Buttons, etc. Just no Novelty fabric please! All of this kind of fabric kinda falls into novelty area but I just don't want any DORA'S or TRUCKS in the Jars, know what I mean?
I am not going to do the label like it shows, But I do ask for you to Put your name with a label on the back of each block! We want to know who they are coming from once swapped!

Follow this to get to the link:

http://members.tripod.com/~FVQG/block.htm

Look at the bottom underneath the 2008 blocks it says:
Click here to go to all previous Block of Month Blocks. (Click this)
Now, scroll down to the 7th sections of blocks and you will see Sept '00 and you will see Jar of Goodies. Once you click it will bring up the pattern~
I would want to keep the Blocks just the same size they have them. All blocks can have anything in them, but the background for all blocks needs to be BEIGE Fabric. Tone on tones work great. I am using a KONA cream. Anything of Beige will work just as long as it reads SOLID. I want some uniformity to the blocks, so we can add our own sashing and have some pretty Jar Quilts~ The number you make will be the number you get back. If you want to keep one for yourself do so, but don't send that particular one to me. It might get swapped and you not get it back.
You make 3 you will get 3 back once I do the exchanging and swapping of the blocks. Mail your blocks to me with a post mark no later than June 10th!!! I will take SIGN ups until May 10th at 12 Noon~~~ USA time, Oklahoma Time~

I will have them all postmarked to send back out to you by June 24th!! You will need to send in your pkg, an envelope with return POSTAGE and addressed to yourself.
Any blocks that don't measure 8" x 9 3/4" unfinished will be returned unswapped. Measure carefully. If I receive a pkg. after the postmark, it will be returned as well unswapped. BLOCKS WILL BE 100 % cotton fabric and will be prewashed~~~
If you need my mailing address please PM me and I will give it to you. I will get mine made and posted in a Jar album so we can all see one made~ Come on and sign up and let's have fun swapping Jars of Goodies! Hopefully there are no errors in this pattern! Going to do mine tonight, so I will post tomorrow and let ya know if any. Don't forget to send me your name, how many jars you will be making and your current/correct addy, phone number and email address in case I have questions!

It would be great if everyone would let me know what you are putting in your Jar so I can put it beside your name and maybe we won't duplicate over one another this way~~~~~~

So-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- WHAT IS IN YOUR JAR ??????

This sounds like a fun swap. I'll sign up for 6 jars. I think I've already got the perfect fabric for the jar.

I'm going to have to ask a stupid question here, I've forgotten how to send a PM. I think I'll print out the answer this time so I won't forget again. Also, I'll need your address to mail the blocks later.

Thanks, Barb Mcf Red Face

Oknana, tell your hubby Happy Birthday! Birthday Today is my son's birthday too - 25 years old. And it was also my Dad's birthday but he's been gone a number of years now.

Wasn't going to take on any more swaps for awhile, but since I have until June to get these done, I'll sign up. Put me down tentatively for 6. Now to find something to put in my jars!!! Hmmmmm - will have to go digging!

Will PM you with my info, altho' you probably already have it.

Hugs,
Nola

So happy you ladies are joining us~
We have Vicky, Barb McF and Nola! yeah~

I picked up my fabric tonight~~~ I had so many choices but I had to settle for one, so I chose strawberries!! I will make a block and post it tomorrow~!~~

Barb, here is how I do a PM:
In the tool bar, at the top of the Posts, there are boxed that say: GO< NEW< FIND< NOTIFY< TOOLS< REPLY< Click on GO. Hover over personal zone and a long box will appear on the right that has : PROFILE< BUDDIES< IGNORE LIST< GROUPS< PERMISSIONS< PRIVATE MESSAGING, ETC. Go over and come down to the PRIVATWE MESSAGING and click it. At the top you will see a rectangle that says NEW PRIVATE MESSAGE, click it. It will bring up "my contacts on the left and invited members on the right. using your mouse select who you want to send a PM to, add, invite members. If the name you want is not in the "my contacts", click on find new buddies and type in OKNANA or whomever, and the search will find the me or them. Check the small box and select add selected members. From there after the new window pops up, type in your subject line then your message and click POST NOW and that's all there is to it~
