I love the idea of making the labels and just pinning them on. I'll do the same, then if the recipient wants to use them, they can; if not, no problem. I think I have some really cute actual canning labels that I could scan, then print off on fabric to use for this.

I am glad you ladies have decided to do the labels on your own. so I guess that is what we will do! If you WANT labels on your blocks that you will be getting back, then you can make them and put them on there. Otherwise those that prefer to NOT have labels won't have this task to do. So with that said, the Sunday Tally/Vote is out.
I have to be honest with you and I WAS NOT in favor of labels last night BUT since Nola mentioned about doing labels on the printer I am thinking of changing to putting labels on the ones I get from everyone Now!!
Wonder if there are paper label patterns you could get off the internet free??? Does anyone know this???

I like the idea of attaching the fabric labels with a pin so the person that gets them can then decide to do what ever they want with them. I can see that I need to get busy and find what I'm going to put in my jars. I'm sure I must have something in my stash that will work, if not, that means a trip to the quilt shop.
