Don’t know how many of you know this but 9 weeks ago my sweetie and I decided to tear our guest room OUT and make it my sewing/quilting room. I was DONE sewing on my kitchen table! 3 years ago we fixed up a cute guest room....but then.... it morphed into a massively stuffed store room with a bed somewhere in it. It was just crammed full (we lost our home including 95% of our out buildings in a fire 4 years ago...long story) so we just stuffed things anywhere we could when we got back into a house. We are STILL recovering from that disaster. Soooooo....8 weeks ago we emptied the pseudo guest room out into the living room...and our bedroom. Boxes boxes everywhere...but...we were only going to have to suffer this inconvenience for about a week so we went for it. A week into the project my sweetie BROKE his back at work. We’ve had to deal with the “we just moved in” syndrome for 7 long weeks! NOt to mention being terrified he was going to take a header over a pile of boxes. On a brighter note...he had a ck up today and the Dr told him 2 more weeks of very light duty (which is TONS better then scheduling a back surgery!). Sooooooooooo....... #1. I can noooooooo longer stand my home and am tackling this mess myself...and #2... my machine goes into the Bernina dealer Wednesday because it randomly sounds like it has a seagull dying inside of it...lol Strangest noise I’VE EVER HEARD come out of a sewing machine.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo having blabbed all of THAT... I’m going to take a rain check! I think these blocks look beyond fun, but... the last of the fluffy batting betwixt my ears would FALL OUT if I were to consider taking on this project at this point and time. I need to move mountains in here.. .. .... ...AND ALSO...outside. I have to tackle my yards which have also suffered from this. We missed our spring chores due to Carl being injured and me going into caregiver mode (on top of working my real job). .

I’ll have to enjoy ALL OF YOUR CREATIVE GOODIES this go round! Just post the photos PLEASE so I can drool on my keyboard and cheer all of your creativity on!
