I spy Rebecca's pretty peppermint candy jar in the album and they look good enough to eat. Yummy! Yippee!

Hate to be a spoil-sport, but unless all of us do 20, you'll not get one from everyone. Frown

That being said, I have 12 cut out and if I get them done soon, I'll go back to the LQS and get more jelly beans! How long do we have to decide? All the way to the June cut-off date? That might be doable! Yippee!

Yay! Mary is making more blocks so more people can get "jelly beans" ! Yippee! Yippee!

I think what is happening here is that we are seeing and hearing about all these pretty blocks and we can't help but say ... "Ooooo, I want one of those!" We are like kids in the candy shop ... lol!

and

The blocks ARE fun to make and line up in a row.
So we want to make more blocks.

But it is true that some swappers only have the time and inclination to make a smaller quilt so they want to make fewer blocks and some of us are making a variety because they have only so much fabric of a particular type ... so, in reality, we just may not be able to get "one of each" ...

But in the end we will get an envelope full of pretty blocks and it will be all good. Smile Smile Smile

You are both right Mary and Pat.
Unless everyone does 20, there is no conceiveable way for us all to get one of each. I am planning on trying to make sure we all get different blocks, if you make 20 you will get 19 in reality back all different (one you will save back and not mail). They just might not be from 19 different people. Sure hope this is all agreeable with everyone, bc I don't know any other way to do this. We are up to over 300 blocks now>
Album is looking Good~~~! I love it~~~~
On Saturday after deadline is up, I really really need everyone to go to the first page and look to see if there count is right, and post to me that it is/isn't, is that your final count, and how many of each content you are doing? I am going to make 3 or 4 different kinds so it will help me in the end to give out different blocks to the 18 and 20's ladies.
Have a quilty day everyone!!

Ok, I'm convinced. I've cut out more anyway and I just wanted to get them done over the next couple of days before I committed. But...please put me down for the full monty OKNANA...Make that 20 jars from me. The background fabric is different but its still Coffee beans.
This swap is the first one I've ever done and I'm blown away. Awesome stuff.

Wow Felicia, when the expletive hits the fan it really hits the fan! Take care, adding my blessing.

Yay!! Melita is making more blocks, too!! Yippee! Yippee! They are fun to make once you get started, aren't they? ... I love the coffee bean one!

Dorene ... put me down for 20 blocks ... if more people join I will do more ... I am making 12 chocolates and the rest will be a variety ... gumballs, gumdrops and lollipop swirl and gummi bears ... I am sending all "candy" jars ...

So Rebecca ... ... if you want to make some with that other pretty chocolate fabric you found ... you go, girl ...

I am really looking forward to the "surprise package" that I receive at the end of the swap ... Confetti

Thank you so much and , Dorene, for managing this big beautiful swap!!!!

Thanks for the blessings! Always love them. If I wrote out the last 10 years of my life NO ONE would believe me. It has been suggested more then once that I write a book (no joke)...lol My answer is a solid HECK NO! It was bad enough going through some of that insanity ONCE so why the heck would I want to drag myself mentally back through that a second time for publication??...lol NO THANK YOU...lol God has been VERY good to me, and held my hand through many dark moments. I'm a gal who knows how to COUNT her blessings, and step over the negative caca the best I can!

Ok...now I feel a bit "chimpanzie-ish" but...WHERE DID THE JAR BLOCK ALBUM GO? For some reason I'm not seeing it? I was going to peek at the new blocks...??? Why did I think it was on page #1?

Sheezzzzzzz....please direct me to the link and this time I'll mark it to favs...lol DUH!

Off to work...

poof*
