want to let you know that the jars are finished. I will mail them off to you on Tuesday. Will be driving past the PO after I go to the clinic to have some labwork done. Got to consolidate the trips with the gas prices being the way they are.

I ran out of background fabric and had to go to the LQS to get more today so I can finish up my blocks and get them into the mail. These blocks are so cute!

Gas??!!?? We are now paying $1.30 per LITER here!! At about 4 liters per US gallon that's $5.20 (and our dollars are at par with each other!) Diesel is almost 10 cents more!! Used to be cheaper! No wonder everything else is going up!! Yikes!! Oh, and there are rumours flying that gas will be up around the $1.50+ mark per liter by summer and that's just around the corner. I'm so happy we put in a wood stove in the house - that will cut heating costs! And I do laundry with cold water, so that saves too. Living 1/2 an hour from town is not necessarily a good thing anymore - oh, well, I always try to consolidate trips, too, Trina. I hope your results are great!

I got blocks from Laura on Thurs, and Betty, Jean and Debbbie's on Friday and Sat. Cute! Your blocks are just neat-O!!! Love 'em!! Speaking of blocks, I need to get in my sewing room and try to sew while my grandkids are still sleeping!!! Haven't even had time to get in there while they have been here. Once they wake up, it's let's play time! With trying to work and play with them, sewing and puter time gets left out alot.

You ladies are in for a sweet treat of a quilt with all these beautiful Jars!!!

I posted my jars to you yesterday. According to the post office they should reach you by Tuesday! Here's hoping. I know when I post stuff to the UK it takes between 5 to 7 days, so I guess it should be about the same to you!
