I was thinking I would not get mine until Monday ... Most likely the reason it did arrive today is that I paid the little extra to have them sent priority mail and I put a delivery confirmation number on it. The postal system near me is just not what it used to be. I know they pay better attention if it has a tracking number. The total was only a little over $5.00 and a little peace of mind is priceless. I will definately send my 1000 Pyramid Swap triangles the same way. I keep looking at these jar blocks and they are amazing. The fabric you ladies found were all so wonderful ... just to name a few ... Debbie's tiger eye marbles look so sharp ... Mary's Jelly Bean fabric is so vibrant ... The two "cash" jars ... Susan's "change" and Michelle's "folding money" are so fun ... and the prints are very realistic looking ... Melita's coffee beans almost smell like coffee ... Laura's butterflies look ready to flutter off the farbric ... Linda I know was searching for the "perfect" button fabric and she sure found it ... Keykat !... I love this fabric ... the fireflies almost glow! ... I have to ask you what this fabric line is ... my daughter loves fireflies and these are her favorite colors ... I know she is going to ask me where it came from ... we are going to have to find some of this for her ! I hope many more of you get your blocks on Monday. I know those of you overseas have a much longer wait ... Think I will go sew my "Pond" Happy Blocks now ... Oh how fun it is to read of what you all think of your blocks! I only had mailed like 5 out the first day, due to the lady at the counter, but Pat is so right on if you selected priority and confirmation on your pkgs. Those pkgs fly!!! Some went regular mail and others flew, so as the saying goes, you get what you paid for so to speak. I say that kindly so don't take it wrong, bc I don't mean like that. I really appreciate everyone that participated in this swap and you all did so good on your blocks! What a great bunch to have swapped with!!! Linda, yours and Jeans went the second day, I know so you should get yours on Monday! Hope so! Hope Monday is a good day for lots of you!!! Internationals, it may take a bit longer, but I promise you, the wait is well worth it, and I think you will agree when you see these beauties!! In my mailbox, what do you suppose I found? Jar blocks. I wanted to sit and look at them, but I had to drive to VA in Boise. So, on the way home...I made my DH hold up each block so I could look at it. I love the colors. Everyone did such an awesome job. Thank you for hosting such a neat exchange. I wish I could begin putting them together immediately, but i have to finish some other things first. Like lopping off those lovely short ears for 1000 pyramid triangles. Thanks again...Vicky

Thanks, Dorene. I'll be looking for the blocks on Monday. I hope I hope! Thanks for doing this. These swaps are really tricky to swap out - trying to make sure everyone gets all different blocks. I found that out in the two strip swaps I hosted.

There were 13 people that signed up to do 20 jars, and the smallest amount done was 12 jars, so the first 12 were easy peasy to swap out, but from there on, it was challenging, so I sure hope everyone is happy with what they receive. I tried really hard to make sure everyone after that rec'd different blocks. You may of gotten 2 from one person, but they are different. That's why I said I really did appreciate the ones that made different kinds bc in the end, it really helped me out!!! I appreciate everyone that did blocks too though!! It all worked out in the end and I think our Quilts are going to be so Wonderful~~ I have for a long long time wanted a jar quilt and now I have it (well it will be when I can get it done). Both Grandsons want a utility quilt to take home with them in July, so I have to be about their wants ahead of mine right now. That's what Nana's do! I am lovin it!!
