ALL of these jar fabrics are novelties. I can see having no comic book characters, or Disney characters, etc. But almost all else fits for a cute quilt. I saw cute coins fabric and dollar bills fabric at JoAnns today. Just no buttons. I KNOW I saw them last week. Even Jean can't remember where we saw them. And with gas prices as high as they are, I don't want to drive around. May order it over the Internet.

I was just at quilters roost. they have some awesome prints in the Farmers market collection.
I'm trying to find something time related.
If you're like I am, way out in the country it takes a lot of gas to get to a real fabric store, Even with trading down to a Focus. I think the internet maybe come my best shopping source.

I've found coffee beans, golf balls (my husband keeps a jar of old golf balls for practice), pretzels, popcorn and dragonflies. What to do, what to do.

Shells or marbles would be cute! I have an antique canning jar (one of those that uses a jar rubber and has a bale to hold the lid on) that is full of antique marbles. Need to go dig out another of those canning jars and fill it with the shells my cousin sent me from American Samoa.

Am going to look through my Hancocks of Paduca catalog and see what they have.

Boy you ladies are rolling with tons of ideas!!! LOL!!! I love the time theme too! Nola, If only Granny could join BC!!! How funny! I was just looking in my cabinets and found some water fabric! But I think I am sticking to my strawberries this time. Sounds like we are going to have some very interesting blocks come together!!! How fun!

I just counted and we have 12 swappers! AND 111 Jars to be filled!!! WOW! And this is only day 3! Wha-Hoo!

When ONE more swapper signs up those that signed up for 12 blocks will be getting all different blocks. I was afraid If 13 didn't sign up, we'd be getting one or two of our own back but this way we will have to make ourselves one of our own patterns if we want one. All kinds of goodies happening!!
Someone said POPCORN~ YUM YUM!! Thinking I need some of that about now~!
