Well, I got two very GORGEOUS blocks in the mail yesterday I just love mine Ladies, you all did such a great job! Thank you so much.

And as for you Barb, I'm sorry, but your block just looks too good next to mine. I think I'll keep it Just kidding of course. I'll see if I can get it back to you next week.

Well done everyone! Who still does not have their block back? And who is working on those?

Aren't they just beautiful!!! I could of kept them for myself {HEHE} because they are so pretty, we have had all beauties this round. You ladies have done excellent work picking and chosing colors and fabrics to make these 20" tops.

Mine hasn't flown home yet but I know it will soon because it is in good hands where it is.

I wish I had another one to work on now I am in need of being perked up 'cause I am sitting here can't sew anyway but it will give me reason to sew!!! Doc says that I do nothing until after Wednesday when he takes these staples out and then I can go back to having fun with all of you soon.

I can't believe it is Friday already wow this week has passed quicker than I figured it would.

Deb, Only 5 more days until those staples are out. In the meantime, you can be planning your next sewing project so you will be ready to go when the doctor gives the ok.

Dorian, I'm so excited to see what everyone has done with my little flower. I'm sure it's beautiful. If I've kept track of it right, I've done my round on everyones block so I'm just waiting for my little flower to make it's way home.

This has been a lot of fun. It really challenges the old brain cells sometimes, but that's good for us older folk.

Barb, I finally got the pattern I want and am part way done with it. I'll have it finished and in the mail tomorrow for you. I spent time with the seam ripper and more than one idea, before I finally settled on this one. LOL.

These are fun, aren't the Deb?! Do you have something to work on? You can always start another block if you want and we can see how many people want to join in. How are you feeling?

Thanks Barbara! I really like them too. I did another pin wheel the first round robin, so now I have two. If we continue to do some round robins, then I will make more pinwheels and then eventually put them together into a quilt.I like the idea of different sized blocks, with some strips of various patterns in between to make it all fit together...I don't know if that made sense or not...but I want to do something like that.

Dorian, I understand what you are saying and have seen some beautiful quilts done that way. It can be a little challenging, sort of like working a puzzle, but the results are worth it.
