Ladies, to repeat for those that miss the November message! I created a new Album for November and December, 2007 and January, 2008 for your photos. Please label as in other Happy Block Albums so that I can quickly edit the Albums. Thanks, Betty

I have a question about the cream center. Should it be a solid or tone on tone or would a white on cream be acceptable? Got the outside, just not sure about the center. Thanks Barb Mcf

Barb, I think Jacqui would concur - we said "cream" but were not more specific. A tone-on-tone would be good, so is a solid or white on cream, as you stated. We just want a fairly unified look to the centres. Thanks for asking! I have mine, and mine is a very subtle white on light cream. I have mine cut out, and ready to sew. I hope more ladies sign up! (hint, hint) Gerda

Girls, to me rich and warm are the saturated colours, and the burgundy and turquoise Cindy mentioned, I think will work well. I have a dark blue tone-on-tone, a purple with a slightly lighter print on it, and a red mottle that's close to deep pink. Deep oranges and yellows, greens, blues. Jacqui did mention jewel tones, and if you think about precious stones, the sapphire is dark, as is the emerald, the topaz is a golden colour, amethyst is a medium purple, etc. So that should give you an idea, I hope. Jacqui, if you have any thoughts on this to clarify, please jump in. These are going to be gorgeous! Gerda

Thanks for clearing the cream center up for me. Now I'm heading to the stash and see what I have. I know I have the other colors, just have to find the perfect center. Barb Mc
