I would like to make a red work friendship quilt but I thought it would be a good idea to get my on line quilting friends involved. My idea is to get as many people who want to join in the same kind of thing and we all stitch each others squares, if you want to include patterns you can, as i thought I would, or you can just tell us your theme. Would one month be enough to stitch on one persons square then we coudl send that back and stitch for some one else.
If you have any suggestions please or ideas of your own please let me know, I'd love to get this going.

Leanne, before going to far email Kim and tell her what you would like to do. She will give you the okay, I've never know her not to but you need to get it.

Sounds like a great swap if I were caught up I would be tempted but as I'm not I can't right now. Just to far behind.

go to the home page of BlockCentral.com (see the big letters on the top of this page?) and down the left side, is a menu, near the bottom it says CONTACT. Just click that and an e-mail page will open up.

I'd love more details - you know I love redwork and hand embroidery, could you provide that when you hear back from Kim?

Hopefully Kim will say its fine and we can go ahead, if you have any suggestions that would be great, my idea was for us all to stitch a block for 2 for each other and when we get them all back we can make a friendship quilt. I'd like us to write or stitch our names on each block we make ( that would make it more special I think) I'll be in touch when I hear back from Kim.
We are off to the beach for 3 days so it should be nice, I have packed my sewing so I'll be right.
