Trina, I must confess I haven't heard from anything about this top. I want to make a hugh announcement on Block Central if you contributed I need to know and we will just drop from what I have.
The originial is lost somewhere and I can't get any response from AFKim to see if she's received it or who sent it to her. This was just left in my lap when Connie E left and I've done the best I could. I put together all that was sent to me so that is what I have. Betty "A friend is a second self." Betty, do you think we might have enough new members to resurrect this project? I realize the rest of the quilt will probably never be found but maybe a few more would join in and turn this swap back into a happy project again. I think the ladies that are current in this project would agree. I bet you are so ready to be done with this one! Or maybe it's just big enough to donate to one of Jami's kids at the burn camp. That would certainly turn this into a happy ending!

It sounds great to me but if anyone would like to sign up email me and we'll add to our present top.
I have gained some information that the last known location was Midge in Australia. I've heard from AFKim who is in Florida. It's where the top was to be sent but she said she has never received it. I'm waiting to hear from Midge; I emailed her a couple of days ago and again today. Personally I feel she mailed it and it's floating around Australia somewhere! lol But if anyone would like to join up or who contributed to the other one I need to add them to the list. I'm going to give Midge a few more days and if you want to join just PM me and I'll send you my address and I'll wait for them to arrive. Please sew your blocks together so I can add rows. Do as many as you like! I'd like to put a postmark deadline of July 1st, 2008 to send your blocks to me. Then I'll draw the winner on or around July 15th. Betty "A friend is a second self."
