As one who has had a hard time meeting the deadline on a recent swap, I have pulled out of another one as I knew I would not be able to make that deadline. The longer I can't sew, the further behind I am getting. I had already decided to refrain from swaps until I can get things caught up both sewing and everything else. Hopefully in two more weeks I will be able to begin.
Kim, I like your exercise plan and had been thinking about that very same idea. Just have to find a good pedometer! I am pulling for you to meet your goal.
As far as the picture part, I like to take a photo before I send out, just in case.
I would volunteer to resize and post photos for someone who struggles with that. A while back, Kim posted a couple of websites for optimizing and resizing photos which I have been using http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/imageoptimizer/ to do it since then.
When I can use both hands again ( to hold book and type at the same time), I am looking foward to playing with Photoshop Elements I got for Christmas and see what resizing I can do with that, if any.
I have joined the no-sew swap, and am curious if the hostess gets anything extra. Do we send a fat quarter or anything in exchange for her doing all the swapping?
dorian, debo posted a little tutorial on making your own tassel. i think she posted it in the no-sew strip swap thread. real easy - you can use embroidery floss and have your tassels color-coordinated!
