Hi, Mona,

Nice to meet you. Smile I joined BC in January and remember reading about your swap and thinking it looked like fun.

I think I am going to sign up for Gerda's Ornament Swap ... (just need to make a block first to be sure of my PP skills) ... but I definately would consider doing another ornament swap, too, as long as I have enough time to get all the blocks made. I would love to see pictures of the blocks that were made in the past. As I am such a newbie, especially to swaps, I need this kind of visual help. I looked in what I thought was the Ornament Swap album, but it seemed to be empty or my computer glitched.

I will be watching for your sign-ups,

Pat

Hi Rebecca,

Its Mona and just wanted to tell you go to the second page of albumns on this site and you will find some that were made last year. Anything goes as long as it can weather the post and has fabric in it some where somehow! I am doing embroidery this year on fabric.

Let me know if you have trouble finding some and I will let everyone know when I get the ok!

Drats!! The listings and thread for last year's swap are GONE!!!

Oh, well, here's a new one - we can list sites as we find them again, right, girls??
http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=Christmas+ornaments+%2B+patterns&meta=
(I just typed in Christmas ornaments + pattern in the search engine, I use Google)

Rebecca, they don't necessarily have to be little quilt blocks - most anything 4" and smaller will do, as long as there is some fabric/ribbon/lace on/in it somewhere. We've had wire angles with ribbon wings, blocks, santas, (last year I made Victorian cones that one could put greenery or something in, and the year before, I did paper pieced stockings). Oh, and NOTHING BREAKABLE!! I hope this helps.

Gerda
