Don't have a clue, Doreen, I even Googled famous Buckeyes to see if maybe it was something in the water. Lots of aviators and astronauts and Hollywood personalities, but only one poet (and I'd never even heard of him!) and no authors or songwriters. I guess we are the exceptions to the rule. Geez! Maybe we should have stayed and become famous in our own right! LOL

Good evening gals,
Got DH off on the plane and my ugly bits almost ready to add to Ole' Ugly. Love all your poems and songs. They're too much!!!!!

Connie, on the 7th you'd asked about our grandson. He's doing really well! Christina took him to see the neurosurgeon at the Gillette Children's Hospital in St Paul that day. He was really pleased with Peyton's progress. Next check up is in 6 months. They'll keep a close eye on him for the first few years. He's growing, crawling, pulling himself up on furniture, recognizes people, makes his wants and wishes known, and in general is acting just like a child his age should. He's great! They'll be here for Christmas. Can't wait!

Jessica, Please cover little Sammy's eyes and protect him well..........Ole' Ugly has some new squares attached and will be on his way to you soon. (Need your address please.) Will wait till the postman comes this afternoon to see if Miss Flora Floral shows up to the party. Pammy said she sent her by mail on the 5th. If she doesn't show, his Ugliness will head off in the mail before I head off to work (I hope!) Will try adding a picture here.

Here's a close up of my squares. Put on a checkered flag for the big truck's racing days, some chickens to add to the flock, fish and apples to help balance the food groups, and sevral other really uglies. Was surprised at how many ugly fabrics were in my stash!
