Welcome Jean, Barb, and JudyK! Woo Hoo! Our kitties our purring because they have lots of company.

Dorene?? you haven't signed up yet. Gerda? Cindy? Wasie? All those other cat lovers out there. I KNOW you are there.

Oh - slight CHANGE for clarification. You can make as many blocks as you'd LIKE to make; however, your name goes in once for each block UP TO A MAXIMUM OF SIX names in the pot. LOL!

Linda

I could probably do some over my spring break in March. That would get them done by the early April deadline. I am so swamped at work that it is hard to find time to sew or do much of anything else. I was lucky to run into this. Sooo sign me up for just 6. They will be very cute, and I just have to do it the month you are hostess Linda! Big Grin Cheer

They excel at choosing fabric and projects for me to do for them! Ha! However, I have gotten both of them sewing. So far, just the younger one has actually attempted a quilt. If I could just get her to finally finish it.....

Linda, Roll Eyes
I stopped on my way home from the Dr.to take a ganderat a local fabric store to see what I could find for paw prints. Wasn't sure I could find kitty paws. I did. Put me down for 6 blocks please.
Now I'm off to sit upon my washing machine while it washes the fabric. YES I said sit upon. If I don't my machine might flood my house. Like it did yesterday. Apple

Hey, is there much difference in the look of kitty and doggy paw prints?? I ask, because in the couple minutes I could be in the quilt shop this afternoon, the only fabric they had was doggy prints, and I didn't buy any - wanted to clear up my question first. I did (gasp!) find a kitty print in my stash for Maya's quilt - I can't abide cats, so never look for/buy fabrics with 'em. Help!? Thx

Gerda

Hmmm ... I am no expert when it comes to animal tracks ... as a matter of fact I took a long look at the paw print fabric I got for this ...

I am pretty sure that the only difference between cat and dog paws prints might be that the dog ones have little points for their nails beyond the toes and cats just have the pads and four toes.

Butterfly Kitty, come to mama and let me look at your feet ... Meow ... she protested the indignity of the personal examination, but she did not scratch ... good kitty ... mostly cats just do not like you to turn them on their backs and hold their feet as they feel helpless ...

Yep, pads and four toes (my cats are not double pawed) ... and no claw marks, i'd say that ought to do it ...

hope that helps <3 Pat
