Jami, your quilt looks stunning!

I'm busy with my RWB and Think Pink Happy Blocks - I've got to get batting so that I can finish them - then I'll post a picture Smile

I think when I received these blocks, I was a little overwhelmed with the variety of colors and patterns! I didn't know how to put it together...sashing & corner stones...plain lattice strips...or just sew them? Confused
As you can see, I just sewed them! And it turned out better than I thought it would...another jump in quilter confidence! Smile I love scrappy quilts, but I guess in my own anal way, Big Grin I was even "controlling" the scraps. It made me stretch and grow a little here!

Jami,
the quilt is BEAUTIFUL!! Are these a cumulation of happy blocks or one's you won during a month? The mix of colors is amazing. I can't wait to start putting my blocks from December together.

It turned out pretty good...at least I think so. It lays nice and flat, so should be easy to quilt with no problems.

Sheila-
These blocks are just from the May Happy Blocks. The theme was florals. I really like how it turned out...now to just get it quilted!

I havent really seen any happy block quilts, so wasn't sure how they would look together. Thanks for showing me how wonderful these blocks go together.

I sent my March anything Goes Happy Block quilt to my dsil, who is battling terminal cancer. I thought I had taken a picture but can't find one, so I guess I forgot to take a picture. I'll have my brother take a picture and send it to me to post.

Also, in setting those blocks, and I am going to set my blue and gold blocks the same way, I rotated blocks so that they go with the long side at the top and next to that the long side at the side. This way (and maybe it's because I'm lazy???) I don't have to match up the seams on the sides of the blocks. Tee Hee! Before I do this I first pick out the blocks that are directional to be sure they are placed correctly.
