Like Nola, I need the details before I can sign up, since I will be gone out of the country the whole month of June and won't be able to work on anything. Post the rules, then I'll decide.

Hi Everyone, Well I have heard from my co-host and we will go ahead with this swap! Here are Dates and Rules We will work in pairs! We will take sign ups untill May 15th and Pairs will be anounced on the 16th. After you get your partner you will eamil eachother withing 3 days of the the 16th and discuss your likes and dislikes. You will also exchange each others address and contact numbers. If you do not hear from you partner within three days of the 16th I need to be informed and we will deal with that at that time. You will keep in touch with your partner yourself and each of you will let the other know when packages are sent and all packages will be sent using Dilivery Confirmation so they can be tracked. Make sure each and every swapper reads the rules of the swaps and abides by them as to not have any swapper that does not recieve a package. Now for a a date to ship! The date to ship the packages is July 31st (10 days earlier if international). Please contact your swapper by the 31st of July and give them there dilivery confirmation number so that they as well as you can track packages! I think these rules will eliminate any hardships! Make sure you keep in touch with your partner throughout and again if you do not recieve an email by the 31st with the dilivery confirmation I will need to be notified. The packages are to contain the following: Two summer fat quarters A quilt notion that has made quilting easier for you! A handmade gift and of course a story about yourself!!!!!!!!! let the sign ups go forward! Any questions please email me! other wise once you sigh up send your info to me via PM or MDINN38613@aol.com and for all others that have already said yes please send me your info so that I may snail mail Connie the list! She has offered to be my co-host! She is a true vet at these swaps so if I cant answer you questions I know she can! She is very sweet so I could not of asked for a better partner in this one! Mona

I have previously been unable to get a delivery confirmation when I mailed some of my swap items overseas. If this is a requirement, how does the item have to be shipped to get overseas delivery confirmation??

The overseas items will not be included in the delivery confirmation rule because just as you have stated Linda, you can't get that on overseas packages. Connie

I can't get that for the US either - the only way would be to ship FedEx or UPS or maybe Purolator - it will cost more, though, since it's a courier service as opposed to the postal service. Gerda Love isn't what you say, it's what you do.

I think we should just stick to the postal service Gerda so we don't get anyone's costs up too high. Those that can get delivery confirmation will and those that can't will make sure their partners know when the package has been mailed and when it should arrive. Connie
