the way i understand it, the homemade gift is our choice as long as it is personally made by us for our swap partner.

glad to know the sun is shining in germany - my sister is there now! she's taking university classes for her master's degree and will be in germany until sometime in august.

Hi Everyone!

Well I walked away from the Computer for a few hours and look what happened! I got a few new members to sign up! I think what we are going to do is this! All new members that have not been in a swap before will be paired up with a member who has done a few! I hope that works but let me talk to Connie and see how she feels about that! I am so excited about this! What a way to kick off Summer!

Now to answer a few questions!

Homemade or Handmade is what we are going for! Something from your own little hands! You will know your partner right up front and will comunicate through email or the phone! Once partners are selected you will have 3 days to notify each other in what ever means you want! You will also keep intouch after that and throughout the swap! When you mail the package you will mail it with dilivery confirmation if in the united states or if mailing international we will figure something out! I dont know about that right now but will contact the post office and check on that! I know if mailing from the United States you can track but dont know about mailing from overseas if that is available maybe Donna from AU can answer that for me! I know there has to be some way to track! If you have the answer to this please share! The list of what is to go in the package is on the first page of this post! have fun and keep signing up!!!!!!!!!!

OH - WHAT THE HECK!!!! Just went back and re-read the rules and I think I can squeeze out enough time to do this swap! (Besides, my daughter just brought home a new quilt book from a sample sale rack at her school - it has some fabulous patterns I'm dying to try! One in paticular would be wonderful for a Summer Swap). Shhhhhhh - don't tell my hubby I bought yet ANOTHER quilt book!!!
