That is a great idea. With those christmas strips from the swap we could make a really scrappy christmas quilt. What fun.

This is soooo exciting.. ...I can't wait to see who wins these blocks. This is my first happy blocks swap.
Is there one winner or multiple winners? Doesn't matter just wondering.
When do we find out what December's blocks will be??? or will we do happy blocks for December??

shelia, 2 names will be drawn and everyone will send 1/2 their blocks to each winner. the first name drawn for these november blocks will choose the theme for the blocks that will be drawn for the 1st friday in january. the idea is to have the drawing early in the month so the winners will be receiving their blocks all during the month!

jacqui (buggalugs) and gerda won the drawing for the october blocks so jacqui gets to choose the theme for the december drawing. i have heard rumors of jewel-tone blocks for this one and that ought to make some REALLY pretty blocks!

Yikes! I need to make mine also! But we are in the midst of making stuff for our Church Bazaar on Nov 10th. I'll have to see how it all fits in! sigh... If only I didn't have to go to work!! Thanksgiving break is coming up!! (Who goes shopping anyhow??)

I got the fabric picked out for my Happy Blocks and got the centers cut. Now to get the rest cut and sewn together tomorrow. This is my first Happy block swap so I'm excited about it.
