Leanne -

I'm sorry it took so long to mail your blocks to you. I thought I mailed them Air Mail???? At least they charged me for air mail. I am glad you liked them.

LOL, I think he does too. He was certainly trying to help throughout the process of laying it out and moving the blocks. I'm actually surprised that one of my cats was not prominently displayed in the center. Ernie was most helpful as well, and with 22 toes, he could probably outsew me!
Thanks!

My cat does that too! He needs to be where the action is, whether sleeping behind my sewing machine or laying on the quilt blocks as I lay them out. LOL!

i originally posted the following in "tips & techniques" - thought this might be of interest to some of you:

"found the following while looking for a tool wrap pattern for billy's wrenches:

i don't know anything about downloading embroidery files, but thought some of you 9/11 swappers with embroidery machines might be interested in adding this detail to your finished quilts!
happy sewing!"

My 9-11 quilt top is done - sending it off to the quilter tomorrow. I've posted a picture and sent pictures to all who had a part in it.

Thanks again, everyone, for your participation in thie swap. We will all have wonderful commemorative quilts to admire for years.

Has anyone else finished their 9/11 quilts yet? We'd all love to see them. Since the 4th of July is fast approaching, this would be a great time to display them.
