Yes, Mary it looks good for September! Ladies, I have posted this in another thread but needed to let you know that when I posted the new Album for Aug, Sep and Oct I posted it as a discussion under Albums...can't believe no one caught that! lol Anyhow, I have corrected that and will delete the discussion thread under Albums so when it disappears don't think anything about it! I have created a new Album which has pictures posted that have been moved from the older Album. Goodness, I need to be on my toes more! Now for a question for all of you! I know we do the same simple block each month but would anyone be up to changing the type of block we do? Maybe another really simple block like maybe do the same blocks but in Log Cabin Style, maybe a smaller center block and then work our way around the block instead of same size top and sides! Just a thought! Let's hear from all of you. I have no clue who began this swap, it's fun I'll say that! Betty

I do not want to change the style of block at least this year. I am making "extras" each month and saving them to put together at the end of the year with blocks of all of the different "themes" in it. The block style is my continuity. I also think it would be confusing for people to change it now. As for who started the swap, I thought it was JudyK. Wasie PS And I wondered where the album was! I just thought it wasn't there cuz it didn't have any pictures in it yet! I have never set up an album before so I had no idea! I am glad you caught it!

Well Betty for my 2 cents worth, I too would like to keep it th same at least for now, the blocks are pretty easy to make and there is not a lot of fabric to have to use not that I don't mind shopping, I have gotten used to whipping this our pretty quickly and the change might mean more cutting and measuring, sometime I like to keep it light and fun. Again this is just me!!! BTW thanks for putting the blocks in their new home.
I only quilt on Day's that End in " Y "!

Gee wizz, and I thought it was quite a good idea, Betty Thought the log cabin could be rather cool - but I'll go with the flow as they say. Maybe next year. Wasie - I've also been putting aside extras for a 'anything' quilt Mary

Betty, my dear, please change my amount of blocks to 8 for September, I kinda forgot what I usually make. Have them already to start sewing on... I also agree with the other gals, let's keep it the Happy Block thru this year, then start a new one starting in January, ok? Thanks for changing my blocks for me... Jean

Betty - I finished my Sept and Aug Happy Blocks today. WOO HOO! On a roll! It's been so long since I made them that I sure hope I made them the right size. LOL! Also, I think we should keep the blocks the same for this year. And log cabin blocks would be nice - maybe for next year, but which pattern? There are so many versions of the log cabin. And it would require more cutting and sewing. I kinda like that these are SO easy to make.
